We met Tack and Hoe Ping last year where they shared their love story with us in a nice Melbourne Cafe. It was very obvious to us that Tack is a very sweet guy where girls all over the world will probably go “aaaawwww……….” while watching their prewedding film. Hoe Ping is also very caring. She likes to make handmade stuff to give to Tack as pressies.
We had so much fun shooting in Melbourne with them. It was definitely a smooth sailing shoot and we can’t wait to go back and do another one cause its such a beautiful city!
The highlight of this film for us is the tram station scene. watch out for it!

What can I say about Adrian and Karina… First things first, thank you is in order to Trish for recommending them to us. We are so blessed to be able to capture the day of this beautiful couple. We only met Adrian and Karina once a few weeks before their wedding where we just “clicked” straight away. Adrian is a very fun and down to earth guy where Karina is pretty much the same… we knew that their wedding would be exciting but they just completely thrown out our expectation..
Their wedding is all about fun and dancing. They are both very talented in dancing and so are a lot of their guests. We were like watching “so you think you can dance” on their dance party.
Apart from dancing, the highlight of their day was the double surprises. It was the funniest thing when each of them emailed us about their own surprises to one another and asking us to keep it secret from “each” of them… This also happens to all of the people/vendors at the wedding where we had a bit of laugh with. Then after that, came the gorgeous first dance, funky bridal dance, the thriller dance and the fun games where karina squish her own father’s bum…
All in all, brilliant wedding, brilliant couple and we certainly hope that they would be get all the happiness in the world… cause they deserve it.
PS: you guys have to check out the “Initial D” car that Adrian has. Ferry was staring in awe seeing how real that car was…. shame we couldn’t get them to drive it around on the day cause Adrian didn’t have the key with him!

RING SHOTS…. I’m a big fan of creative ring shots… We’ve done a lot of twirling, glowing, focus pulling and a lot of other “ings” and it is always a challenge to find a unique ring shots to do in each wedding that we do. However, this time I think we have nailed it! Dustin came up with the idea and everything just flew from there. Its a killer ring shot this one and I’m so happy with it.
Now back to the whole wedding (sorry!) Benny and Lala is our friend. Benny is a rather unique guy with very strong mindset of what he is as a person and how he perceive things. Lala is a very soft and loving woman who (in my opinion) completes Benny or rather “neutralizes” Benny
I just love it when an SDE has a lot of intimate moments in it. Moments that mean a lot to the people who understands it the most (the couple and their family). I love the shots of the father looking at lala getting ready. For your information we didn’t set up that shot. We try to never direct our couples on the day since we want them to have their own experience and cherish it. Also the doggy scenes were a laugh cracker at the reception as everyone was watching it. I also love how the dad was holding her hand so closely as they were about to walk the isle. These moments are the most precious and I have to say that I’m so proud to have them captured by our team… even though we can take all of the nice and grand shots that we can get, the meaningful shots are worth ten times as much.
We are so happy for them and it was definitely a great wedding last Sunday and we wish them the very best for the rest of their lives together.
The church was held in Manly and reception at the great Watersedge, The Rocks.
Thanks for watching
